The Coming Of Korne

 

The Jade Emperor wanted a recon against these so called Chaos Marines. He had no love for chaos, after all, "The one who thirsts..." well, let us not talk about that. The recon was apparently a brilliant success, as well as the new weapon. For once, he eagerly anticipated a debriefing from his army.

Edea: Our recon was more than successful. It was almost comical, in a twisted sense. We came across the followers of Korne on Datomi, and almost immediately immobilized their dreadnought, and a lucky shot took out one of their terminatiors. We moved in incredibly fast. However, we took casualties almost as fast, as Shaka lost 2 incubi and the Obsidian Squad took some casualties. Meanwhile, Jedi overdosed on whatever the f*ck he was taking and went out, and the Zulu knights were forced to retreat and overrun by Korne Berserkers. The Horns of the Bull Bull missed all of their shots. It would appear that the combat drugs take as much as they give...Anyway, the Emerald Squad failed to take out the immobile Dreadnought. And on the good side of the report, the experimental Grav Tank took out an entire unit that jumped out of a Rhino, as our Talos utterly mutilated a Chaos Lord later identified as 'Bob'. The Dreadnought that was immobilized appeared to go insane with frustration and started firing at its own troops. Nevertheless, it absorbed all dark lance shots directed towards it. It also absorbed the attempts of the Horns. The Chaos Dreadnought, realizing that whoever didn't die would be forfeit to us, destroyed the rest of it's soldiers from where it stood. It accomplished our task for us, which we had no problem with.

Osiris: That is not entirely true, Dreadnoughts don't think that way. It more than likely just went insane. Followers of Korne tend to be unstable like that. Know this, so that it can be exploited in the future.
